A two-bar temporary roof rack that sets up in minutes without any permanent hardware gives occasional paddlers and cyclists a capable carrying platform without committing to a full rack installation.

The Malone VersaRail 58" two-bar set transforms a bare roof into a functional load bar platform using vacuum tower bases with 75 lb pull strength each, creating a stable two-point support system for kayaks, canoes, bikes, or cargo boxes. The rectangular bar profile is compatible with most rack accessories, and the 135 lb load capacity handles a solid range of recreational gear. Both bars arrive fully assembled and ready to install with no additional tools required beyond the included wrench, and 1.5" safety attachment straps keep the towers anchored during transport.

At 10.5 lb for the set, they're manageable to remove and store after each use, which the design requires.

Note: This is a temporary rack system and must be removed from the vehicle after each use. Rain water can potentially run down wet straps and leak into the vehicle.
